Main engineering process plan

The project adopts the acetylenic aldehyde process route to produce BDO, and the main raw materials are hydrogen, acetylene and formaldehyde. Among them, the hydrogen source hydrogen production device uses the natural gas provided by the park as the raw material, and produces hydrogen through transformation and pressure swing adsorption. Formaldehyde plant uses purchased methanol as raw material to produce formaldehyde by iron-molybdenum method. Acetylene plant uses calcium carbide produced in the park as raw material to produce acetylene.

The BDO device uses acetylene and formaldehyde as raw materials, and uses the acetylene aldehyde method to catalyze the reaction to generate 1,4-butynediol (BYD), which is then reduced by hydrogen to produce 1,4-butanediol (BDO).
